Run for a Cause in 2012

The Indigenous Marathon Project was established in 2009 by World Marathon Champion and 1983 Australian of the Year Robert de Castella. The Project impacts positively on Indigenous communities Australia wide and creates community role models and local champions who influence change and physical activity and healthy lifestyles to others. The Project is expanding its operations within communities around the country while it looks to provide opportunity where it would otherwise not exist and your assistance directly helps us to do to.

We are a high needs disability support organisation providing individual, respite, family support networks, opportunities, and programs. We create opportunity. We are champions of possibility. We inspire partnerships of support. Together we are a positive circle of support.

All young people deserve to live young lives. Youngcare is committed to raising awareness of the issue across the nation so that we can drive change and create real choices for young Australians and their families.

Our group has grown from a small group of parents meeting informally for support in 1984, to representing & servicing the needs of HeartKids and their families throughout Queensland & Northern New South Wales in regards to Awareness, Advocacy and Support. HeartKids collectively pool their resources on a national level to undertake research in regards to Childhood Heart Disease
