Race packs
Collecting race packs
Participants will be allowed to collect their race packs with ID or confirmation emails only. If you are collecting for a team or on behalf of another person, please ensure you have written permission or confirmation emails. Click here to see race pack collection details
Collecting a friend / family race pack?
Competitors are recommended to collect their own race packs. However, we do allow collection of family or friends. We require written approval for collection or alternatively the confirmation payment receipt received via email.
What is in the race pack?
Marathon: Your official race number and timing chip
Half Marathon & 10km Run: Official race number, timing chip, singlet and sponsors goodies.
5km Run/Walk & 2.2km Kids Challenge: Official race number, timing chip, event cap and sponsors goodies
Will you post out my race kit?
No, competitors are required to collect their race kit. Please check race details for more information.
Singlet Sizes (ie: cm across chest, length, etc.)
Please check the Sizing Chart on the race packs page to ensure you obtain the best and most appropriate size to suit.
Online registration
Tax invoices
You are able to access your tax invoice for your entry fee online
Confirmation emails
You will receive an automated confirmation of your entry from our registration partner Streamlined Events upon successfully registering. You will then receive another confirmation email approximately 1 week prior to race pack collection on 3 August 2012 detailing your race number for the event.
I have not yet received a confirmation email what do I do?
You may have entered your email address incorrectly or the automated confirmation may have been filtered to your junk mail. When collecting your race pack, please bring with you personal identification so we can issue you with your race pack.
Online registration difficulties?
Please contact us if you are having online registration difficulties.
Refunds
Refunds
Strictly no refunds to any competitor, regardless of situation.
Transfers
Competitors will only be allowed to transfer their entry to another participant or change their entry to another event at Brisbane Running Festival 2012. No transfers will be permitted after Thursday 5pm 2 August 2012. Please email us with Name, DOB, Gender, Email to administer a transfer.
What are the entry fees?

Race rules
Running with headphones
Running with headphones is not recommended, however we do allow the use of these whilst participating. If you choose to wear headphones, please ensure the volume is at a reasonable level so that you are able to hear instruction from course officials. Failure to follow instruction on course will result in automatic disqualification.
Can I run with a pram?
Yes, you may run with a pram. However, we ask if you can please start at the back of the race to ensure safety for your child as well as competitors.
Keeping up with what is happening
It is important for all competitors to know what is happening in the leadup to the event. All updates will be placed on our Twitter and Facebook accounts. So please follow us or check the website regularly so you stay on top of things.
Do I need to return the race timing chip?
No, we do not require the timing chips back after use.
How do I mount my timing chip?

Photographs
Will there be photographs available after the event?
Yes, event photography will be provided by Super Sport Images. (Please visit http://www.supersportimages.com)
Other general questions
What is the weather like in August?
Weather conditions are generally ideal for running with temperatures in the morning at 7 degrees and warming up to 22 degrees celsius during the day. Generally a low chance of rainfall. For more weather statistics click here.
How often will drink stations be placed?
Approximately every 2kms - See the course maps page for information on drink stations.
Which roads will be affected by the Brisbane Running Festival 2012?
Please check the course map page for road closures permit detailing which roads are closed.
Would you like to be a pace runner?

Will there be a place to leave our gear when we run?
Yes, participants will be able to leave their personal items in the "baggage tent" while running. All participants will receive a special tear off luggage tag on race numbers. We ask you tear off this tag and attach to your belongings before you drop your bag off. We recommend you do not leave valuables.
