Race packs

Collecting race packs
Participants will be allowed to collect their race packs with ID or confirmation emails only. If you are collecting for a team or on behalf of another person, please ensure you have written permission or confirmation emails. Click here to see race pack collection details

Collecting a friend / family race pack?
Competitors are recommended to collect their own race packs. However, we do allow collection of family or friends. We require written approval for collection or alternatively the confirmation payment receipt received via email.

What is in the race pack?
Half Marathon, 10km Run and 5km Run/Walk: Official race number, timing chip, singlet* and sponsors goodies.
1km Active Kids: Official race number, timing chip, Twilight Run quick dry visor and sponsors goodies

(*note: singlets provided to participants in the half marathon, 10km and 5km only - sizes are strictly limited. If you do not wish to receive a singlet, you may elect to receive a Twilight Run quick dry sports visor)

Twilight Singlets
Please check the sizing chart on the race packs page to ensure you obtain the best and most appropriate size to suit. Sizing charts are created to the best of our ability. You are able to try on our sample singlets to ensure you receive a singlet that will fit you well.

Twilight Visors
If you do not wish to receive a singlet as part of your entry (half marathon, 10km and 5km), you may elect to receive a Twilight Run quick dry sports visor instead of the singlet. You must do so when registering online, no changes will be permitted when collecting your race pack.

Will you post out my race kit?
No, competitors are required to collect their race kit. Please check race pack information.

Online registration

Tax invoices
You are able to access your tax invoice for your registration through your confirmation of registration receipt. Please email us if you have not received yours.

Confirmation emails
You will receive an automated confirmation of your entry from our registration partner Streamlined Events upon successfully registering. You will then receive another confirmation email approximately 1 week prior to race pack collection detailing your race number for the event.

I have not yet received a confirmation email what do I do?
You may have entered your email address incorrectly or the automated confirmation may have been filtered to your junk mail. When collecting your race pack, please bring with you personal identification so we can issue you with your race pack.

Online registration difficulties?
Please contact us if you are having online registration difficulties.

Refunds

Refunds
Strictly no refunds to any competitor, regardless of situation.

Transfers
Competitors will only be allowed to transfer their entry to another participant or change their entry to another event at Twilight Running Festival, St Lucia 2013. No transfers will be permitted after Monday 5pm 18 March 2013. Please email us with Name, DOB, Gender, Email to administer a transfer.

Race rules

Running with headphones
Running with headphones is not recommended, however we do allow the use of these whilst participating. If you choose to wear headphones, please ensure the volume is at a reasonable level so that you are able to hear instruction from course officials. Failure to follow instruction on course will result in automatic disqualification.

Can I run with a pram?
Yes, you may run with a pram. However, we ask if you can please start at the back of the race to ensure safety for your child as well as competitors.

Keeping up with what is happening
It is important for all competitors to know what is happening in the leadup to the event. All updates will be placed on our Twitter and Facebook accounts. So please follow us or check the website regularly so you stay on top of things.

Do I need to return the race timing chip?
No, we do not require the timing chips back after use.

How do I attach my timing chip?
Your timing chip is attached to your race number. Simply pin your number on and you are ready to run. Ensure that your number is visible at all times throughout the event. Do not bend or fold your race number as this may damage your timing chip.

Photographs

Will there be photographs available after the event?
Yes, professional event photography will be provided by Super Sport Images. You are able to access your event photographs directly from the results page as soon as Super Sport Images have identified all participants. (Please visit www.supersportimages.com.au)

Other general questions

What is the weather like in March?
Weather conditions are generally good for running with temperatures in the morning at 10 degrees and warming up to 22 degrees celsius during the day. March averages the very low rainfall and is not expected for race day. A great way set your running season off with a bang! For more weather statistics click here.

How often will drink stations be placed?
Approximately every 2kms - See the course maps page for information on drink stations.

Which roads will be affected by the Twilight Run 2013?
Please check the course map page for road closures permit detailing which roads are closed.

Would you like to be a pace runner?
Please click here to complete a form to apply for a pacers position in the Twilight Run 2013.

Will there be a place to leave our gear when we run?
Yes, participants will be able to leave their personal items in the "baggage tent" while running. All participants will receive a special tear off luggage tag on race numbers. We ask you tear off this tag and attach to your belongings before you drop your bag off. We recommend you do not leave valuables.
